Why Less Posts
XKCD: Stop and Think
So other than the occasional project posting my posts have gone down. This isn't because my writing has decreased but because of a new method I have.
- Oooh I have an idea.
- Is it offensive, or NDA? Then rant to friends or co-workers as appropriate.
- Okay I can share it with the world, break it down to 140 characters and tweet it.
- Is it still in my head?
- Write a blog post, save the draft
- Talk it out with friends, let it run around my head
- Review draft
- If comfortable Publish, otherwise continue to review or delete
Of course a lot of times I just feel what I'm writing is too opinionated or is lacking good sources. The most common case is I can find a much better written article by a more knowledgeable expert which covers most the points.
Anyone else use a similar system? Thoughts?
Website Coding
Hi all,
So the website rework has been quite an endeavour made more complex by changing providers, being busy at work and going into hospital.
The good news is the Comic Viewer 0.1 is written and working. It's stutters and has rough edges but I'm happy with it. Other than that I'm looking at finishing the Code & Art hobby sections.
The index page also needs a rework I want it to me more active.
Oh how badly I want Gmail Tasks API. It would make this all sooooo much easier.
Will update shortly.

The mess of social presence

Now this fracture social presence makes it hard to unify things and publish things. Facebook and LinkedIn take care of themselves in many ways.
I've dismissed Buzz as not very useful and this blog has been gathering dust (sorry to almighty google). I was looking into ways of importing Tumblr into my blog and thus my personal website where this blog is embedded. Looooong story short... I'm going to move my primary publishing to Twitter and Tumblr. If occasionally I have a longer length article to publish I will be using this blog, which is then imported into Tumblr anyway 
Also loads on my plate but I do want to strip and rehaul this website so badly it makes me itch.
So in the meantime keep an eye on my Tweets and Tumblr and you should know everything happening in the Forest of Fun I call my life.

Rehauling Things
Hi All,
I've been crazy busy in so many ways that I've neglected to keep my web presence updated. I blame all the networking tools like Facebook and Linked In because to some extent they remove the need.
The main goal will just to realign the site to more suite my needs. I'll be merging the blogger page correctly into the my main page and setting it to redirect. Still trying to find the lowest maintence way of doing things.
Lost in choices at the moment will update once its all clear.
Launching 2.0
So its here the website's fresh coat of paint. Bear with me over the next few days as the goal is to have the site fully alive and kicking by the 1st March.
I can promise a podcast episode this week however and more intresting things to come. I'll be keeping you all posted.
Damnable Web Thingy
Oh well the podcast is on the proper server now. If you've been using the RSS feed or the iTunes link like good little techies you wouldn't notice anything. I have secured a small amount of space on another server in case this ever happens again.
The comics are up and I'm updating thing on roughly a weekly basis, but I'm not committing to anything. Check them out at http://comic.flammablepenguins.com/. In the future I hope to move the comics onto our own server but at the moment I'm being super cautious regarding bandwidth and such. Hope you enjoy

First off I'm sorry about the delays, Odeo is broken and I don't know how to fix it so this is linked from an alternate host. I'm convinced the third podcast is cursed.
Well Hamster and Emma couldn't make it but I battle it through I even drag in Swedish workers.

Quick Shout Out
I've been having some trouble with the itunes feed. The new feed is over here I'm trying to get Apple to sort out the feed on iTunes because I dont have direct editing control of the old feed.
In the meantime here is the New iTunes Feed and the plain feed.
